Human Rights activist and iconic lawyer Femi Falana (SAN) is incredibly proud of how his son, Folarin ‘Falz’ Falana turned out. Vanguard reports that at the premier of Falz’ new video ‘Soldier’, the legal giant took to the stage to speak publicly about his son.
“I’m delighted to watch you,” the Senior Advocate said. “I sent you to school to study law, and I thought you’ll be a fantastic lawyer. However, I have no regrets that you’re doing well for yourself.
“I’ve spent my life fighting the brutalisation of the military, and I’m glad that this video also has the same theme,” the senior Falana continued, adding, “I’ll consult with your mom tonight so we can chip in some support for you.”
Falz has become a household name. His skits are pure gold, his acting skill so excellent it earned him the “Best Actor in a Comedy Movie/Series” award at the just-concluded 2016 Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards. Now, he is taking over the rap scene, but the University of Reading graduate may have finally earned the highest accolade of all: the respect and praise from his father who had mapped a different path for him.
