After releasing his debut single, Do Something under Chocolate City Records, the young artiste, Koker has shown his versatility by dropping a new song and video titled Kolewerk.
Koker is one of the fourteen artistes under the label with MI (Jude Abaga) as the president and rapper Ice Prince as the vice-president. The video shows the graduate of Creative Arts from UNILAG wearing his usual native attire in blue, the collar embroidery laced in red and scantily-clad girls posing and dancing to the song as he raps to the music.
Some few popular artistes also made cameo appearances. The singer with his real name, Olayiwola Kokumo sings Kolewerk- apparently from the Yoruba word ‘Ko le Work’ (meaning it can’t work). The video is colourful and has a party-feel to it, from Godfather productions.
This is a bold attempt to define his brand as the young artiste stakes his claim in the dynamic and highly competitive industry.
