While some of today's 'old Nollywood' actors got their start in the '90s, many of them didn't get to remain A-listers.
Here is a list of five top Nollywood actresses who got their breaks in the 90's, and where they are right now.

1. Genevieve Nnaji
The actress made her acting debut in 1998 at the age of 19, with the movie "Most Wanted". Fast forward to 2016, and she's an AMVCAs multiple award nominee for her debut production "Road to Yesterday."
                               

2. Rita Dominic

The actress made her acting debut in 1998 with the movie "Time to Kill." It's 2016, and she is already a multiple award winner. Still receiving positive reviews for her role in the movie "The Meeting" as Clara Ikemba, the actress recently co-produced the movie "Suru L'ere," which also starred her as Mama Akara.
                                   

3. Stephanie Linus

The actress made her acting debut in 1997 in the movie "Compromise." It's 2016 and her directorial debut "Dry" has earned her multiple 2016 AMVCA nominations among other notable awards and recognitions.
                           

4. Omotola Jalade Ekeinde

The actress made her acting debut in 1995, in the Reginald Ebere movie "Venom of Justice." 11 years down the line, she's still as relevant as they come, and preparing for the return of her reality series "Omotola: The Real Me."
                            

5. Kate Henshaw

In 1993, Henshaw made her major acting debut in "When the Sun Sets." 23 years down the line and she's still as talented as ever, and is slaying as Emem in the "Do-Good" TV series. Let's not even forget how sexier she gets everyday.
