Iyanya, who was recently made an ambassador of his home state,
Cross River, during an interview with Punch said his hardwork landed him
the appointment.
“When you work hard, there shall surely be rewards. It is like going to school, doing well and making your family proud. There is no way that you would not be appreciated one way or the other. That is exactly what we have seen. I agree that the office is a very demanding one but I am equal to the task. I will have people to work with and being a hard worker I know I would be able to make the best of the situation.”

“There will be no case of distraction because the job is going
to be about what I am used to doing. I have been an ambassador to
different companies and now that I am representing a state government,
much won’t change. Already this year, I have had at least two hit songs
despite my very tight schedule and I know I won’t relent. I will surely
make my fans happy this festive season.”
Ben Ayade, Cross River state governor recently made Iyanya an
ambassador of the state, and some perks like an office, an official car
and even a salary came with the appointment.
