The silent war between stylists Toyin Lawani and Swanky Jerry is far from over, and now Ms Lawani has sent out a message to stylists who like to show off their works on social media.
“I am the master of all stylists and designers,” she hashtagged photos from the just-concluded Love Like A Movie 3, and then shared photos of the artistes she styled that day, corroborating her claims that she, not Swanky Jerry, was the official stylist of the prestigious event.
It all started after Swanky Jerry shared the photos of Ciara and Darey Art Alade on his Instagram page and captioned them as though he styled both artistes looks. Not long after, Toyin Lawani who is the CEO of Tiannah’s Place Empire, shut down that claim by making a very detailed post of how she styled Darey, Ciara and the 26 artistes who performed at the LLAM3 event.

Last night, Ms Lawani made a statement on her page as she shared the photos from the event. “I submitted my illustrations, before I got the approval to create their various pieces,” the mum of two said, adding, “Imagine if I didn’t know my onions???”
“So make sure you master your craft,” she continued, and then educated those who claim they are ‘world famous stylist’ but know little about what styling is about. “To be a world famous stylist and designer, you must possess the right skills; you must know how to make hair, do makeup, illustrate and sewing.”
