Yemi Alade has held an exclusive listening event in Lagos today March 3 for her forthcoming album.
The singer sat with pressmen, entertainment and music influencers at the Ozone Cinemas, E-Centre in Yaba and played some tracks from her upcoming album ''MAMA Africa''.
The ‘Johnny’ crooner also gave an acoustic performance of her song ‘Nakupenda’ which is also off her new album.
She also revealed the inspiration behind the title of her album.
“2016 is all about my fans, let’s just say my fans gave me the title.”
Also present at the event was Niniola and her new Effyzzie Music Group mate Genius.
On February 18, Alade hosted a listening party for the album in London.
“Mama Africa” comes out on March 26, 2016. It features top African act such as Sauti Sol, DJ Arafat, Sarkodie, Selebobo,Flavour, Psquare and Rotimi Keys.
The album also features production from BeatsByEmzo, DJ Arafat, Masterkraft, Mr Chidoo, PhilKeyz, Rotimi Keys and Selebobo.
The project is a follow up to the Effyzzie Music Group artist’s debut album “King of Queens” which was released October 2, 2014.
